Our theme for the 2025–2026 school year, "Rooted in Christ," is inspired by Colossians 2:7. Like the Indian River Citrus trees that thrive because of how deeply they are rooted, we too are called to grow strong spiritual roots in Christ. In the dry soil, citrus trees must reach deep to find water—producing fruit that, though fewer, is sweeter and richer. The same is true in our faith journey. When we are deeply rooted in Christ, our lives may look different from the world’s standards, but they are filled with grace, purpose, and lasting fruit.
Rooted in Catholic tradition since 1940, St. Helen Catholic School continues to grow hearts and minds centered on Christ. This year, we will focus on building that deep foundation in Him—nourishing our faith, growing in virtue, and living lives of gratitude.
