School Advisory Council

The School Advisory Council of St. Helen Catholic School shall have as its primary concern the ministry of Catholic elementary education: the spiritual, intellectual, physical, emotional, and social development of its students. The School Advisory Council, operating in conformity with the policies of the Diocese of Palm Beach and under the guidance of the Superintendent of Schools and the Principal of St. Helen Catholic School, seeks to advance excellence in Catholic school education by providing leadership, direction, and support for the school community.

The School Advisory Council is advisory in nature to the Principal and Pastor. St. Helen Catholic School operates as a ministry of St. Helen Parish within the Diocese of Palm Beach. Members of the School Advisory Council serve in a volunteer capacity, offering their counsel, resources, and talents to support the school administration in its delegated authority.

The function of the Council is to exercise shared responsibility in fulfilling the mission of St. Helen Catholic School as a center for excellence in Catholic education, and to provide leadership, assistance, and support to the school within the context of its faith-centered mission.
